Sonic Days 2024

Arve Gotfredsen is based in the north of the EU and is part of the international Technical Support team at Meyer Sound. He works with system design, calibration, and general technical support. He has been involved in recent spatial audio designs and integrations in installations, temporary solutions, and other projects. He is utilizing and exploring the possibilities of Spacemap Go in the field alongside Meyer Sound’s many different resources and products.

In both the theatrical and live concert fields, Arve has worked in all positions as a sound engineer on the highest level, from patching and working the floor to mixing and creating as a sound designer. While touring Europe and working as a freelancer in Denmark, he earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark. He then worked as a consulting acoustician in room and building acoustics and as a certified noise consultant while maintaining his career as a sound engineer. Since his teens, Arve has been working on and part of the largest Danish festivals, including Smukfest and Roskilde Festival.
