“The Zone of Interest” is a 2023 historical drama directed by Jonathan Glazer, based on Martin Amis's novel. It portrays the life of Auschwitz commandant Rudolf Höss and his wife, Hedwig, who live near the concentration camp, oblivious to the horrors occurring just beyond their garden wall. Johnnie Burn is sound designer on the movie, and will do a presentation about his work on The Zone of Interest, moderated by Danish sound designer Peter Albrechtsen.
